Ardecs Mentoring program is celebrating its 1st Anniversary!
Today marks a one year anniversary since Ardecs company launched an educational training program for students, graduates and post-graduates – Ardecs Mentoring.
Ardecs Mentoring is a program targeted at recent graduates. It allows getting a real developing experience under direct control and help of skilled company employees in a period of 3 months through completion of theoretical and practical tasks.
After a year it may be confidently said that the training does indeed works: it makes it possible for software developing graduates who start their careers to witness day-to-day realities of a software developer and gain invaluable experience.
Sergey Ilminskih was the first program participant who was a student at the time:
“I learnt what mentoring was like only when I started with Ardecs. Due to the lack of my developing experience I was offered to go through a company training - Ardecs Mentoring program, that was just launching at that time. For 3 months I have learned a lot about ins and outs of Java language, the Spring Framework, JDBC, JPA, JTA and other technologies not only in theory but also in practice. You don’t always pay attention to certain details when you study technologies on your own. Working with an advisor is a fine opportunity not only to learn a technology, but also to get the hang of seeing what one comes across in practice. I received interesting tasks and I always had a chance to ask experienced specialists for a piece of advice. The training gave me an opportunity to catch what the company’s life looks like from the inside, realize which direction to go. Currently I am participating in developing different projects for the company where I am actively implementing the Spring Framework and continuing to learn new technologies.”
